spiralngphoenix: (Stuff)

I have, in my storage unit, a perfectly lovely (yet due to a slight problem with the size of the tuning pegs that renders it non-tuneable, and therefore not playable in any semblance of tune) lap-sized harp that I would be willing to part with if someone would like it... (For the LARP props folks: I doubt anyone at Endgame would have much use for it, but I thought that 7V or Madrigal might, and if so great! If there's a chance of getting CP towards Endgame, even better, but I have no idea how that works or if it's possible...) Either way, I would sort of like this thing to go to a new home, rather than collecting dust and taking up space in my storage unit.

Of course, if someone else would like it, that's always good, too. The tuning peg issue is correctable, I just have neither the money nor ability to do so. (And since I shouldn't really have callouses on my fingertips, even if I could, playing it is rather out.)

Please feel free to pass along...

When you say the peg issue is correctable - knowing nothing about harps - is that a "correctable for under $200" -type thing?

I'm honestly not sure, sadly. It's also distinctly possible that I was just never able to find the correct size tuner(s) for them. The pegs are odd-sized and I couldn't find the right tool to do it. They move fine, it's a matter of matching pegs to tools.

I'm going to be changing my storage unit to a smaller, cheaper one this month, and moving what doesn't fit over to Rellik_canard's, so I can bring it back up with me if you'd like to take a look at it. (It has some nice, ornate carving on the case and is otherwise in fantastic condition.)

Hm. I would be thrilled to take it off your hands for Cash Moneys, if you like - sadly, props CP cannot be transferred from game to game, so I can't offer you that. :(

However, wait a bit and see if any of the EndGame staff (for example, you might want to ping Ann/[livejournal.com profile] annthemun for her Wonder plots) jumps in with a CP offer, if you'd prefer. :)

I figured as much on that, but ya know, worth looking in to. ;)

Up to you on part 2. I feel a little bad asking money for it, since I know at the moment it's not really playable (which I wish I'd known that before I bought it) until it can be tuned. If you want to toss money at me for it, have fun, I won't object within reason. If not, whatever. It gets it out of storage and saves me carting it around again. (As the first responder, you get first dibs. ;p )

If other people fall through, I'd also be interested, as would I think a couple of others in 7V playing bards.
