Jul. 1st, 2009 07:51 pmI am beginning to mildew. My ivy is wilting from lack of sunlight. Yes, you read that right...my IVY is wilting from too much shade. I have a list of Very Important Things To Do (ya know, like find a way to make some money, set up a website, feed my cat, things of that nature), and little time to do it all in...
Instead I sit curled around a mug of hot tea, wrapped in polar fleece blankets, and stare numbly at the computer monitor. A neglected bag of ogham staves beside the keyboard watches me reproachfully, reminding me that we have things to discuss. My mood better suits a night deep in the frozen waste that is February than an evening in July, and frankly I'm quite thoroughly done with it all. If I but had the means, I would even now be sitting on the porch of a nice little bungalow on some tropical island, sipping fruity umbrella'd drinks and consulting my oracles there by the warm, sandy beach, instead of here, in this dismal, dreary place that my beloved New England has become.
Blah.
