(no subject)

Dammit. The Borders in Nashua, where the boy and I hide from the summer and occasionally go to just to get out of the house and have a cup of coffee while peering at books is one of the ones slated to be closed. The list of closing stores is here.

Guess it's Barnes & Noble and their crappy coffee and tiny tables now. *sigh*

For what it's worth, the town library is quite nice and actually also has coffee, at least the last time I was there...

Bummer. I was hoping that one would stay open. Such a great cafe staff, they'd have live music sometimes, and it was such a great place to hang out.

It is so cracking me up that I got an email from their CEO to-day, tho. You know, that they're still generally in biz and whatnot.
